We will be sailing on the MS Prinsendam and have a cabin over the engine on the Dolphin Deck. Can anyone comment on this category of cabin? We are concerned about engine noise and vibration.

Hello LostInAmerica, and welcome to Cruise-Chat; several of us have had cabins on the lower decks of HAL ships and never had a problem with noise or vibration.

I must comment on your username: it happens to be the title of one of my favorite movies, "Lost In America", with Julie Hagerty and Albert Brooks, who also wrote and directed it. Was it the inspiration for your name?. The scene where he is trying to talk the casino manager into giving back their "nest egg" is one of the funniest ever put on film (IMHO).
