New to this forum. My husband and I are cruising the Veendam on the European Tapestry tour beginning June 8 from Venice. I am interested in chatting with those who may be taking the same cruise. Thanks!

John, It's great to find someone going on the same cruise. This will be our first cruise of this length and also our first time in Europe so you KNOW we can't wait! Also, it will be our first Holland America. Feedback seems pretty good and the itinerary is wonderful.

Venice Early?
Will any one be going to check out Venice early? I was thinking of going a day early. What do you think of the hotels the cruise picks. Is it worth the 450+ or would I make out better getting my own hotel. This is my first trip to the Med.
