Take this for what its worth, but after 3 times on the Zuiderdam and 7 total HA cruises they cannot pay me to go back on the Zuiderdam. In 2004, the Zuiderdam cruise was the best cruise I had been on. Our most recent cruise in April on her was the worst cruise we had been on. When the best thing one can say about a cruise is the disembarkment, that's all one needs to know. The comedian on board was quite candid with us when he told us the Westerdam has clearly become the choice ship of the entertainers to work on. He sighted Julie Barr as an example. She was the long time comedian on the Zuiderdam and, now has left the ship to move over to the Westerdam.

They are offering those prices on a lot of the Alaska cruises through HAL right now.

That's a great price. We paid $629 for the same cruise last year (left 10/28)
