I definitly would take warmer clothes. I went on Sep 6th timeframe and it probably was in low to mid 50's. Also take raincoat or umbrella.

Take layers - I'd recommend both short- and long-sleeved t-shirts, sweatshirt and/or a sweater, lightweight windbreaker, fleece vest or pullover, and definitely the rain gear. If you're outside on deck you'll need almost all the layers, but can peel one or two off when you go inside (to eat, rest, etc.) If you have all heavy clothes, you'll be too hot inside the ship, and they'll take up too much room in your luggage.

We were in Glacier Bay the second week in Sept. It was cool/cold (depending on your tolerance). There was also a light rain. We layered and had one of those inexpensive plastic rain ponchos (cost us 99 cents)....We were served hot chocolate on deck around 10:00 and hot split pea soup on deck at 4:00. Perfect. Glacier Bay was phenomenal.

We were in Glacier Bay in early May, and it was cold on deck. The best way is to dress in layers. I also found that a hat came in very handy. I hope that you have a great cruise and enjoy Glacier Bay as much as we did.
