On Holland America are you allowed to use use your cabin card to purchase chips, and if so is their an extra charge. Also, what poker games are offered

Yes there is a 3% charge for placing money on your shipboard account. Here is the link to their web page. The casinos vary slightly from different ship classes. Best wishes.

Texas Hold 'Em was big on Veendam recently.

We were just on the Eurodam. There are no ATMs so if you need cash you have to use your room card either in the casino or at the Front Desk. Yes, the charge is 3%. The only live poker game I saw was Texas Hold'em. Of course they had the poker machines.

Was the Texas game a no limit or a limit game. Also, do they have tournaments?

I do not know. I am not a Poker player other than the machines. I know they had a tournament one day but can't tell you their limits.
