Our room is at the front of the ship in 5006. Is this a good location? I have heard the front of ship will feel more motion. I don't think that will effect my family, but just curious.

generally, rolling and pitching is considered worse the higher you are in the ship and the more you are located towards the stern of bow of the ship. However, there are few situations where this is a real problem.
Hi Keller... I agree with Raoul - though true that the aft-stern pitching of the ship is felt more in the very front and the very back - on today's ships in cruise mode, it really doesn't make a big difference. My daughter gets motion sickness in cars, busses and planes and has tolerated very front cabins and very aft cabins with NO motion sickness. Enjoy the cruise!!!
