Hi everyone, I am planning my firdst trip to Alaska and am very interested in the Holland America Line. Does anyone have any specific information on the latest info of the liners that go to Alaska with HAL and in particular the Zuiderdam VC return trip.Thanks for all replies in advance.

I have sailed the Zuiderdam twice to the Caribbean and have had a great time. I will be sailing the sister ship Oosterdam in August. Its the same ship with the same type of entertainment. Boy I wish Julie Barr would be on the Oosterdam. In addition, my son (9) considers Michele Davey to be the best Childrens program director at sea. We chose the Oosterdam because it leaves from Seattle and considering the air cost, it was the way to go. I love HAL and enjoy sailing with them. Try Cruise Value center's website. HAL does a really good job in Alaska. They do tend to have a bit older passenger mix, but they have lots of experience with that area.
