Wow, Rio, I've never been there and it sure looks like a beautiful place. Be sure and let us know how sailing around Cape Horn goes. I've heard it can be a real adventure. I'm going to start packing soon
Well, I saw that you read my review, so you can get an idea from that. NCL was not that bad. I did have a great time, but I was cruising which beats a day in the office anytime. The food wasn't up to snuff for my tastes (My wife put it best when she said, "The food couldn't have been that great, I only gained 2 pounds" . I won't say I will never sail on them again, but since they are leaving Houston this year, it would be a hard sell for me to fly to another port and not take CCL or RCCL. In fact RCCL is our next cruise and I have a feeling that we will end up enjoying them more than CCL. But you never know.

Ordered my in-suite liquor last week (4 litres of Bombay Sapphire) for those gin and tonics on the veranda while getting ready to meet friends in the Crow's Nest before dinner.
This time next week, we'll be in Santiago, Chile having dinner. The following morning we will make our way to Valparaiso to board the ship.
Hey, nice to know you will be escaping our crappy 50-60 degrees weather. Here in Phoenix, we are breaking out our parkas, for our cold spell. Hopefully, next week it will warm back up to a brisk 80 degrees. Are you back in Scottsdale yet? I hope you have pleasant sea days. That is one cruise, I would definately love to take.
