Ryndam

We are cruising on the Ryndam in November, wondering if anyone has been on this ship recently and how they enjoyed. I know the ship is due to be refurbished soon, hope its still as beautiful as the rest of HAL's ships. We've been on the Maasdam & Westerdam the past two years & enjoyed both, but really liked the Maasdam because of its size, which I know is basically the same as the Ryndam. Any input or info????

My wife and I traveled on the Rhyndam for a 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise on our honeymoon, 6 years ago. I'm not sure if the ship has been refurbished since then, but I can tell you that we LOVED this ship. Perfect size, beautiful decor, terrific rooms. We had a suite (can't beat the Neptune Lounge!) and found the food and service to be top notch. Head and shoulders above our experience on RCCL, Carnival, and NCL.

We sailed on Ryndam on Nov 2008 for 7 day Mexico. Loved it. Parts of flooring showed wear, but overall ship was in good shape.

We are sailing next week on the sister sip Statendam. I like that size ship.

Thanks for the info,I'm sure you will have a great cruise on the Statendam, wish we were leaving sooner, we need a HAL break.
