I am ready to book this cruise for my 50th b-day and would like advice or comments on whether to buy a Cat B or Cat SS -- both are balcony cabins -- SS 350+ sq. ft, B approx 250 sq. ft.

I am a frequent cruiser usually book outside cabins, only had a balcony once, but as this is a special occasion want to really "do it up".

I'm also a BIG LOVER of spa treatments -- so the real question is -- do I pay for the extra square feet (plus jacuzzi tub in room) or do I save the extra for spa treatments?

Any ideas??

I would say you can spend more hours of enjoyment on your balcony and hot tub in the room than you will be able to spend in the spa. I would take the room over the spa but that is just me.

Thanks -- and good point. I'm nearly decided, but it's such an extravagance and I'm really having a hard time not feeling too guilty to enjoy it!!!
