Alaska VanGuard

Considering going on very first cruise to Alaska and booking through VanGuard Tours and
Cruises. Presentation was great. To good to be true? Anyone ever use VanGuard for and cruise?

I too was at a presentation of a Cruise/tour in Alaska, and it is very tempting to sign up. I have been waiting for a reply to your question. It would be good to know if anyone had a good/bad experience with VanGuard

To bcg and svs, welcome to cruise-chat;
I see there has been no response to your first post almost a month ago; considering the number or experienced travelers on this site I would take that as a red flag. Every business has to start somewhere, and VanGuard may have a very good product; but when you get zero response from a group like this I would say why take a chance. There are plenty of good providers out there with track records that can be verified.
Remember the old adage, "if something seems too good to be true, it probable is!"
