hi tom - you seem to know a lot about cruising. I have just signed up for the November 05 - San Diego to Auckland 35 day cruise on the Statendam. What are your thoughts on this ship.

Welcome to cruise-chat. Unfortunately, Tom just left this morning for 2 cruises in Europe. He will have only limited internet access - so it may be awhile before he is able to respond to your question. Sorry, I don't have any first-hand knowledge of the Statendam to share with you, but didn't want you to be disappointed if you didn't get a timely response from Tom.
