FORMAL NIGHTS

My husband and I are going on the February 28th 10 night cruise out of New York. We expect that there will be 3 formal nights. I remember from other HAL cruises that one of these nights is the most formal- it may be the captain's night. I have only 1 really formal gown and would like to wear it on the most appropriate night. HELP!

On our last HAL cruise, the first of the formal nights seemed to be the more formal of the two. I'll let you in on a secret, though -- on a cruise that has three or more formal nights, I will sometimes wear the same dress for two of them, usually the first and last. Sshhh.
