Is there additional restaurant costs?

Does HAL charge additional costs to eat at some of their restaurants? and if so is it significant?

I guess my question is about the Alaska cruises.

HAL ships have restaurant that has a surcharge. It is the Pinnacle Grill. October 1st the surcharge to eat there will be $30 per person.

There is so much food to choose from you will not need to eat at the Pinnacle Grill anyway. The food in the formal dining room was fantastic and if we didnt feel like eating there, we did the Lido Deck buffet. We sailed on the Ryndam 8-27 through 9-3. Have a great time.
