WE are cruising dec 10-17 on the westerdam with our 11 month old and are in 5093 balcony and need to know if babysitting is available on the ship and any tips for infant relief once in awhile.

You will be on a gorgeous ship. We saw it ported in Alaska a couple weeks ago when we were on the Ryndam. On our ship they had Club HAL but that was a little older kids. I did not hear about any babysitting available but there may be. You could check the web site for Holland-America and maybe call their 1-800 number. We had a couple babies on our ship but they were always with their parents. My suggestion is if you have family that would be willing to take the little one for the week, I would do it. Kids are great but mom and dad need some time to themselves. Have a great trip
