We are sailing from this port and I would like any info regarding park and cruise accomadations. I read the parking fee at the port facility is $30 per day or $300 for 10 days. Has anyone sailed from here before? Have you found a reasonable Hotel to stay in with parking available for the duration of the cruise with shuttle to/from the port?

Hi Bill C, did you check out the Port Hotels and Transportation section a little further down the main page? I believe there were some posts about parking there. I thought I read it was $20/day, but could be wrong. Port Everglades and Miami are $19/day. There are a few hotels that will let you stay and park. I googled "manhattan stay and park hotels" and it returned quite a few. That might help, too.

Thanks Penny3333. Port parking charge is $30/day which is a bit stiff compared to other ports. I will try the Manhattan stay and park hotels.

Bill, you'll find that NYC is more expensive than most port cities. When inquiring about stay and park hotels, make sure that they know you are asking about long-term parking for nights other than you'll be staying at the hotel. In other words, many hotels' parking packages include only the night(s) you are staying in a room. It may actually turn out to be less expensive to park at the port.
