I recently had the opportunity to speak with Captain Albert Schoonderbeek of Veendam. In addition to being a ship's master, he is a maritime historian and author. He also enjoys cruising when he is on leave. We spoke about changes in cruising including the introduction of As You Wish Dining and the new captain's toast as well as about the Holland America fleet and Veendam. beyondships.com/veendam-albert-1.html

Yes, it is excellent. Actually the whole beyondships site is great.
