Has anyone dined at the Pinnacle Grill? Looks like the cost is $20.00pp, that seams like a reasonable cost. Looking for any feedback.

Which night would be the best to make a reservation? I am thinking a non formal night. What are your thoughts?

We talked about it when we were on Veendam; but the Rotterdam Dining Room was so outstanding in every respect, we just never got around to it. If we had, it would have been on a non-formal night so as not to miss the extra-special dinners in the main dining room.

I had lunch in the Pinnacle on a ship inspection. It was excellent.

We ate at the Pinnacle Grill on the Zuiderdam during our recent Panama Canal cruise. The food and service were excellent and well worth the $20. Would highly recommend.

I would also highly recommend Pinnacle Grill. Make your reservation quickly after boarding, as they fill up quickly. They will be able to tell you when the formal nights are so that you can avoid them. Our first visit years ago, however, was a formal night, and it was fine, although I prefer the main dining room on formal night.

It was also a lovely treat to have lunch in Pinnacle Grill. We did this on the day we visited Glacier Bay. It was a nice atmosphere to spend an hour or so, in addition to our time on deck. Of course, you won't hear the glaciers calve from there, but the view is still amazing. No matter what the day, I'd still recommend lunch in Pinnacle Grill. I believe it was $10 pp. Dinner was outstanding, also.

thank you all for your help. 2nd and 5th night out is formal nights. I went ahead a booked the first night. I did not want to be in formal clothes on the last night, and the other nights we are in port late. So first night it is.
