I would sure wish scientists could event a battery for hybrid/plug-in hybrid/or all-electric cars that could hold a deep enough charge that would equall the potential energy of a full tank of gasoline.
After last July, we all have spent too much on gasoline. Don't you agree?
As great an idea as the battery power cars sounds in theory, it'll never be an option for most people. The initial additional cost of the car, extreme climates limit battery power availability, battery replacement costs, faster battery deterioration in hotter climates, payback for initial investment. There getting better but it'll never be for me.
