Mike, thanks for the link. Pretty interesting details. I was surprised to see some of the variances in alcohol content. A lot of those beers are not available or marketed here. I didn't know Pabst had a low alcohol light beer.

yeah, i found a few interesting surprises on the list too

another interesting beer website is here....it focuses more on reviews of beers, but has alcohol % stats and general beer info

instead of registering (which you need to do to use the search function), you can find any beer you like by going to google and searching for " 'name of beer' 'name of website' "

(sorry, i dont know if im breaking any rules by posting the name of the site)

Ah yes. Genny Cream. It was excellent on tap and fueled many a kegger that I attended over the years in upstate NY. The definitive beer for a winter night in a NY bar playing pool or listening to a live band.

Odd that Genesee could make such a good beer and yet their regular beer was swill. I'll also give some good grades to Genny 12 Horse Ale.

OMG Genesee, I havn't thought much about that since my Colgate Univeristy days in Hamilton NY. As I recall the regular brew by the Keg for fraturnity parties was only out sold by Utica Club, "it's Utica Club - UC" Remember that?

Wonders of Wonders - - - my husband brought home a 6 pack of Genessee Cream Ale - in bottles - the other night. It's available in one of the new mega-beverage stores that just opened... Icy cold and lots of memories. I'm not the drinker I used to be - - but it sure was nice.
