Happy Halloween!

We had a similar problem, CruiseDad. The church up the street from us had Trunk or Treat Oct. 31 at 5, so I figured that would be when the children would come around. Guess I was wrong, I had my lights on until 7:30pm and no one came by. I had heard the dogs barking on the 30th, so I guess that was when they came. I didn't turn them on that night because I was trying to get my normal Sunday chores finished early.

I really missed seeing the little ones, some of them are so darn cute. The teenagers, some are cute, but most are just rude.

Maybe the kids who showed up at my daughter's door left their costumes at the game!

I would have liked to see the crowd with folks in costume. Sounds hilarious!

I live in the same town as the Editor of the Farmers' Almanac. The last few years he goes on a local radio talk show and during the show he gives out a secret password or phrase. If you show up at his home on Halloween instead of getting a "large" type candy bar, you are rewarded with three if you get it right!! Also, he has a garage that serves up a scare or two with gouhls and goblins. I would have to say that his place must have been very, very busy as the writeup was in the paper that morning.
