Hi everyone.
I saw this story in my college magazine that I get every quarter. I don't know the person, but found her story very inspiring and emotional. About 5 years ago now, she was thrown from a horse at an equestrian competition (I'm not sure where). She had to be med-evaced to an NJ hospital, and had a traumatic brain injury. Her prognosis was grim, and was thought that if she did recover, would be paralyzed for life. Here is a link to a story that a local NJ station did, and here is a news link that was in a local paper about a year ago. There are also more links, and there are too many to list, but if you just Google her name, Noelle McNeil, you should get a lot of hits. She has also written a book "Heaven Exists." |
I love stories where people prove doctors prognosis wrong.
