It was bound to happen sooner or later.

I hope the only pirates we see in the Bahamas are the ones in the Nassau Pirate Museum.

If they'd let me bring my Winchester .270 aboard I could help address this kind of thing, one well-placed shot at a time.

Seriously, it is amazing that this is allowed to go on without an international response.

This has got to stop one way or another. I've said it before, and I'll say it again..They are getting more bold by the day. There is no excuse for them to threaten a cruise ship. What are they going to steal, everyone's credit cards?

If it was in internationally patrolled waters as the article states, there is a problem with someone doing their job. It is beyond me as well that there has not been more of a response to this.

Don't worry sparks, the Bahamas are too close to the Southern States for them to try it.

Yeah. We'll get in our bass boats with our deer rifles and shotguns and "take care of business".

They will hold the ship & passengers for ransom just like the cargo ships ...can you imagine the price they would command for human lives .
You are talking about an area where there is no one to enforce the laws of the seas/land.

Utterly ridiculous! Is every ship going to have to have an armed escort?

I like this cruise ship. It sort of gives me somewhat a felling of some security.
