Can anyone shed any advice on this airline, as we've never heard of them and RCL have booked us onto the Manchester to Miami flight, via Philadelphia. The only reviews we can find are fairly negative but I've asked for a different airline and was told we cannot change without paying a lot of money for the privilage? Any advice?

Hi Julie. I've flown US Airways (USAir, for short) many times within the States and don't recall any major problems. I have not flown them internationally, however.

Philadelphia is one of its hubs. How much time do you have between flights?

Hello. We flew them internationally to London a few weeks ago. We flew from Phoenix to Charlotte, and onto London Gatwick, and back again. We had no problems at all. We were flying business class. We upgraded our son for $500 going to London. It was a redeye. We wanted to sleep. They have "Envoy Class", for there business class to europe. It acts as there Business/First class. They seats recline approx 160 degrees. The first row of seats recline even further. To asia, they have the tradition first class, at least according to there website. I usually fly them within the US, for a cruise or whatever. We also just flew them to NYC, we had no problems. I think they are great. But, just like a cruise, an airline experience is subjective, and personal. Good luck. Lil' Lori

Hi LisaP,

We have 4 hours in Philadelphia between the flights on the way there and 2hrs 45 on the way back. Do you ask because they often run late, as this is what I've found during investigations on the website?

Julie, I just wanted to make sure you had enough time to make the connection...and you do.

US Air always made me go through Charlotte. I, honestly, think that if you were flying from Houston to Los Angeles they would route you through Charlotte.
