Can you find the Osprey and her nest? The 2nd photo is the nest, there are 3 babies in it.

One thing becomes clear in a hurry in Yellowstone. You have plenty of chances to climb stairs.

Oh Lawdy! That is a lot of steps! I sure wouldn't want to hit a Buffalo or have one hit me either. The Elk sorta looked like a Deer on steroids. Ya see how much I know about West Coast animals. I do know what an Osprey is, and that was a great shot!

There are only 328 steps. A sign at the top warns you not to take the trail if you have heart or breathing problems.

We did not take the trail, our son and his wife did. they loved it.

I hope you are not in the area where the bear attached and killed a man at a campground. They have captured them now.

Now comes word that paintball bullets attract bears because of they contain cooking oil. They had to close a paintball range in Montana as a result.

Gary, those are great pictures. We have been to Yellowstone twice and want to go again. It is so unique with the geysers and other geological rarities. And the abundant animal life makes it exciting.

Well, exciting EXCEPT when we were driving through Yellowstone and came upon a herd of buffalo walking down the road. We had to follow them for a long, long time until a park ranger came along and shooed them out of the way. The bad part was--we were in our new Corvette and the underside got covered with buffalo chips! We couldn't find a car wash fast enough!
