Oh, no! Now a moderator is going to butt-in and claim I'm trying to promote TiVo. I thought everyone knew what it was. You'll have to do your own research which is pretty easy to find on the internet.

Anyway, TiVo really doesn't stand for anything according to TiVo, Inc. They were originally called Teleworld. When they decided to market mainstream they chose between TiVo and Bongo. An idea that it comes from TV-evolution to the shorter TiVo would be pronounced tee-vo-lution.

Now that we have that out of the way, back to the topic before I forget what it is. Has anyone who HAS a TiVo experienced attention deficit disorder?

Spot on thread, every post and I will add that the dilemma is the result of a society who requires instant gratification. The blueish glow of a television for four hours a night in every home across the country is sucking brains dry. Might tie into the dumbing down thread.
