Those were some wonderful voices in that chorus. It looked like half the eatery patrons were actually chorus members! What a nice treat for the others.
I was in a chorus that sang "Messiah" every year for more than the 15 years I was a member. We never did this wonderful mall thing, but we did singing telegrams with small groups from the chorus, surprising the recipients with things like this Hallelulya chorus. Great fun!
We need more of that, to remind people what Christmas is all about. Man, the grumpy people I have run into in the malls, geesh. I feel so sorry for the people working in retail.
There is a beautiful song on youtube, too, with a neat story behind it. I don't know how to link it like Dave did. But, it's called "Where's the Line to See Jesus?". It was written by a grandpa after his grandson asked that question while standing in line to see Santa. It's worth watching!
