WooHoo! I found a box of blueberry ones in my freezer.

I never know what I'm going to find in there.

I don't know about the eggos on Carnival. One thing I can praise them on with the lido breakfast buffet is the french toast. It was awesome this time.

Well I guess I'll have to resort to store brand waffles. I have been having the Eggo Homestyle brand every morning for breakfast. After being unable to find them at 2 of my stores, I resorted to the store brand.

Thomas' waffles are most excellent. They cost more than eggos though. Homemade are definitely the best, but I don't have a waffle iron.

Carnival's french toast *is* good!

People might not agree with me, but the frozen Aunt Jemima french toast is quite good too. During outages, when I work as a consultant at ye olde nuclear plante, my usual breakfast is a microwaved one and the frozen breakfast meals from Aunt Jemima and Jimmy Dean are pretty good.

Dave - You definitely had an advantage at Ye Olde Nuclear Plant - you didn't need to microwave the munchies - they were already "Nuked"!!!!

Speaking of "nuked" food...

About 10 years ago a co-worker who liked to stir the pot got tired of a meeting which was being held where he usually ate lunch. There happened to be a microwave in the meeting room. So this guy goes and gets a can of sardines, plates them, and quietly walks into the meeting and places the sardines in the microwave. He then selected 10 minutes, hit start, and left.

The guy running the meeting is now the department manager and his ears still get red when someone reminds him about it. I've never seen him more angry. The rapscallion got assigned some choice work for about a month.

well, I noticed in the Wal Mart this weekend that all the eggo waffles were gone from the shelves. I chuckled to myself at the thought of the 'waffle run" created by the story and the customer hording waffles.

Of all the non-events... this is it. Can we truly not survive without frozen waffles?
