And to you, too, Dwayne! Hope everyone has a great day and a few Irish Whiskeys to top it off! Bennigan's made the best, they drizzled green creme de minthe on top, they were so very good! I'm serving up corned beef and cabbage tonight, too. Which reminds me, I need to get some more horseradish, I used it up Sunday night.

Right, Dwayne... "one" My grandparents are full-blooded Irish so I take the time to remember them and cherish the lovely memories that they provided me.

Yes, I cherish the memories of my grandparents, and my great-grandmother too. They had so many sayings that must have been handed down to them.
I actually only stayed at Flynn's for one beer. It was so crowded I had to illegally park. A good portion of off duty police officers were there, so I told them about my illegal parking. They said it was ok and bought me a beer. I can say this, a Guinness is quite different than a Coors Light.
Penny, I put my brisket in the crock pot with a beer and some water this time. A friend of mine told me to try it that way and when it is done it would float. It turned out great. I've never had horseradish with it before. What brand do you like? I might try it some time.
The corned beef and cabbage was awesome and the horseradish was nice and hot. I prefer fresh, but it's hard to find, so I get anything that is just horseradish. Not the prepared horseradish. We had Kraft last night, it really cleared the sinuses. Maybe next time I'll try Wasabi with it I didn't have any beer, so used beef broth, beer sounds much better
Well, I have sobered up now so I have to go through the laborious task of making sure that I didn't post anything too controversial during my period of incoherency. If I make it up that way sometime, Dwayne, we will have to have a couple of pints of stout.
