Is that why they look at me funny when I have them put my grocery bags on the conveyor?

The only thing I miss is an outside pocket for the cutting tool when one uses cable ties.

After our last cruise-my lady and I invested in a set of spinners for each of us-much easier to handle and absolutely no back strains! Two wheels are good but four wheels are better!

I bought a couple of pieces of TravelPro luggage before our last cruise. They're softside, with two inline wheels each. (I know that many love the spinners, but I just couldn't get used to them.) The smaller bag (19" rollaboard) has also come on several business trips since then, and has held up well even after being rolled on city streets (including cobblestone). Our larger bag (25" wheeled upright suiter) proved to be water resistant when we had some minor flooding in our cabin. Both hold quite a bit...in fact, we had to stop packing the larger bag before it appeared full as we were approaching the 50-pound limit.

Enjoy your shopping!

Does anyone know of where I can get Samsonite parts? Broke a wheel and I like to fix things.

Ding, ding, ding! You win a new set of American Tourister, avocado colored luggage.

I agree with that being way up there on the list. But you have to realize that I like the Simpsons, Family Guy, Black Sheep and Tommy Boy.

Please note how I worked new luggage into this.

Thanks eveyone for your luggage thoughts (and whatever other silly thoughts that crossed your minds...lol) I appreciate the information. I guess the bottom line is that I need to spend quite a bit to get quality luggage. If I buy one piece at a time I should have a complete set by 2011.

You get more bang for your buck in the Lido Lounge because you get your questions answered and you get a little entertainment to boot.
