it would be cool to have cruise-chat t shirts, with the logo on the front and your user name on the back, it would be cool if you saw somebody else on the ship with the same t shirts

Really!

With 23,462 or us, there must be at least a few on every cruise.

Well, it is nice to think about that many members being active. Of course the reality is more like 20 or so regulars. It reminds me of my VFW post. Over 300 members dutifully pay the annual dues, along with having around 100 life members. We are lucky to have a voting quorum on meeting nights.

Well, we have come along way. I remember being on the forum the night the CCL section hit 10,000 posts. It now has over 39,000.

That is a neat T-Shirt idea. They are supposed to be changing the logo soon, but Dave knows more about that than I.

And this reminds me to make sure to pack my Cruise-Chat Staff Cruise T-shirt that Dave was kind enough to send me. I am going to wear it to another board's meet and greet.

The T-Shirt Idea sounds like a good idea.

Didn't Tom Ogg have a Cruise-Chat T-shirt? If I remember correctly, he would award it to the first person who could name the port of call in a photograph he posted? He went on to state that the winner who would wear the shirt on their cruise would receive excellent service from the crew once they saw it.

I couldn't find the one about the 10,000 posts. Just as well, I use to miss-behave a little back then. I found the 12,000 post one, it was August 24th 2006. It is here.

Frase, I seem to remember something about the T-shirt.

That sounds like a great idea Frase. Gary and Sonny take some awesome photos.

Please remember that Tom was also getting the advertising revenue from this site and could afford to buy them. I doubt IB would be interested in maintaining an inventory of shirts and caps.

Hmmm......the "Cruise Chat" logo on a t-shirt might be ok....
but putting your user/member name on the back....No Way.
