Lido Deck review #1

There were no problems with the state rooms (because there were none),No Shore excursions, pool, spa casino or shows...
However We did enjoy a beautifull Montreal sunset, the fine company of a very nice couple from Alabama,Who were touring here,And a fine four corse dinner. The Smoked salmon, shrimp and pickelled seaweed apatiser was delicous.Tender filet minon with a great sause. We needed to have a shower after the lobster(somehow every time I start craking those things shells end up on other tables! No one was injured! The desert was too sweet for me. Ther was a great party on the bow! We docked at midnight, most passengers went out again for the party cruise(till 4 am).
We then had a nice walk back to the car in the old port, went to the casino for about an hour(won $400.00) and the best part of the evening was that I was back in my own bed by 3 AM! fresh brewed cofee and croisants this morning. Now it's time to cut the grass.
Stay tuned next weekend when I will review my son's pontoon boat on lake champlain NY>

That's not the same guy we saw a little while ago in the sweatshirt and cap with the fish is it?

What a charming couple!

Bruce, thank you for sharing the photo and your wonderful night with us.

Bruce, great pic and nice review of what must have been a great evening in Montreal. Me and my bride spent a week in that great city back in 1967 and attended the World's Fair. We went back several times since then and also like to visit Quebec as well. I must say that food is #1 in both of those locations. We took our daughter back to Quebec for her 21st birthday many moons ago as she wanted to dine at the revolving restuarant atop the Concorde Hotel with a glorious view of Quebec and old Quebec as well. We also enjoyed staying at the old Sheraton Mount Royal years ago in downtown. As I remember, the metro had a stop in the basement of the hotel. Ah, memories!!

Thanks for bringing them back to the front for me.
