Surely are not happy the newbies, for their questions won't find any advice from veterans.

I think this "sent to my room" feeling won't be useful for the site, even if it's grown into just one poster.
The fact is ... that I've somehow got that feeling - and don't neither get me wrong.

Thanks A'ndrea for sponsoring this place, don't get me wrong. More is better than less ...

Hello fredo; nice to hear from you.

I really don't see any problem for the newbies. Oh, it might be a little confusing at first--the different atmoshphere on Lido Deck compared to the rest of the site; but they will catch on. I don't see any big changes in anybody's posting habits so far. I know I'm posting as much or more than ever in the other forums.

And I don't think the recent changes mean we can't still use humor or be entertaining in the other forums; we just need to avoid going off on tangents like some of us liked to do. If we get the urge to be a little silly or creative, we can do it here.

As George Carlin says, what's so bad about being sent to your room? That's where all the neat stuff is.

Best regards to you, my friend.

Rick

and finally ...I think I agree with the post by f-mattox as it seems like members are still using all parts of the site to answer questions or discuss a topic as well as having a bit of fun on the lido deck.
