Is it just me or is the volume of the TV getting worse. It used to be during the commercials the "noise " would increase. It now seems like during the show it changes more and more. On some shows the background music is so loud you can not hear the actors.
Yes I know I am losing my hearing. |
I don't know that's you at all. I've noticed the same thing. Even in the newscasts. It's like there's white noise or they have the microphones turned down and the background takes over.

Gary, we have noticed the same thing. The background noises and music are so high that you can't hear the dialogue. It's a waste of time for the actors to learn the lines.
Also, it seems like in most drama shows, the actors are always walking or running from place to place and you can't understand what they are saying. "West Wing" was a prime example of that, but now it seems to have infiltrated many shows. We enjoy the new "Hawaii 50", but it is very hard to hear and understand some of the dialogue. Commericals are another thing. Not only are they gross and disgusting, but they are so loud that we can't hit "mute" fast enough!! Nadine |
Seems like some of the shows are having lots of dark scenes also. At times it hard to see what is going on.

Nadine, I've noticed the same thing with Hawaii 50. I love the show but it has sound issues. My old Curtis Mathes CRT has a mind of it's own it seems. Santa please bring me a new LG flat panel. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif

Dwayne, I hope Santa comes through for you!
