Wow. 50:1 odds for the winning horse. The overhead shot at the end was amazing. Mine That Bird looked like a rocket on the rail blowing by all the leading horses.

Dave I have to agree with you. What wonderful odds for someone brave enough to bet on that horse. But my goodness that horse ran the last leg of the race like someone had shot him out of a rocket. left the rest in the dust. such fun to watch...

Sort of like living in upstate NY and never going to Saratoga for the races, or to NYC for the Statue Of Liberty.

I think we went to the harness races in Saratoga once. We never went to the thoroughbred races. We'd watch the harness races on TV every so often. I think channel 10 carried them (WTEN) on Saturday nights.

Sure wish I had a $2 ticket on the Exacta, that paid out over $40K. The superfecta was HUGE!
