What scares you the most?

I don't like bugs or spiders, but I can control my phobia better since I saw one tall, strapping fellow go almost into hysterics over a tiny little spider dropping down on a strand from the ceiling. I had to kill the thing and wondered if I looked as silly as he did.

I am also afraid of falling. I can go to the window or look over the balcony but I can't climb out on the roof and have trouble with ladders.
