As humans on this planet, I believe it is our duty and obligation to protect the little critters who need us. So glad you stepped-in and took care of her. It will keep your Karma in-check.

I agree, we are here to take care of the animals, at least I am. Here is another picutre of my photogenic guy, Dudley. He was 3 months old when I took this.

Dudley is mesmerizing. The natural eyeliner, the satellite-dish ears, and that cute little mouth. There's something about cat lips I find adorable. The detail in this photo is excellent...the eyes, every hair, and the moisture on the nose. Nice rack of whiskers. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks SuzyCruise, he used to be all ears. Now he is all body, with a itty bitty head, sharks teeth (he has three rows of teeth), and a monkey's tail. He cracks me up every day.

Something is lost in that transaction but I can't figure out who or what.

Dave, we have 5 mutts that we'd be happy to share with you. I took the mother in, not knowing she was prego, anyway, no one wanted a mutt, so we have them all. We also have a feral cat. I love both, but would rather have a cat because they're so much easier to care for. Especially when we go on our cruises. My baby was Sam, he was 1/2 siamese and 1/2 tabby. I had him for 14 years, he went on the road with me when I was driving a truck. He developed diabetes right after my mom died. I lost him 6 months later. Never thought I'd have another animal and now we're loaded.
