That's good to hear, Gary. Mine went up to $2.72/gal last night. I look for it to go up at least $.10-$.25 next week. They HAVE to rape people that want to travel to visit relatives. That's how they celebrate the holidays

Here in the upper NE we are paying between $2.69 and $2.72 on average as of this am.

Penny is soooooooooooo right on when it comes to "them " celebrating holidazes !

I am waiting for something bad to happen. Our gas prices are still the same... no increase for the holiday. I do not remember that happening before.

I paid $2.61/gal. this morning. I was truly surprised that it didn't go up. Of course, this was Wavaho. The Chevron out by our house went up $.20/gal. last week.

$2.49 at Murphy's. They also raised Marlboro carton prices to $32.99 from $31.49. Luckily, I have friends that send me $4 coupons.

Dwayne, you can sign up on Marlboro's website and then usually once a month you can get a $4/coupon. Without a coupon at Murphy's here, I paid $43.98 for a carton. That was with tax. The coupon almost covers our tax here.

Thanks, I know. I get them from there as well. Before the new tax kicked in they were about $26.

Jim, it equals about 2 or 3 cruises a year for me. Pretty expensive habit. And then in the end it probably kills you.

I spend $1200/year on cigarettes, so it wouldn't be one cruise, but it would be a few fun nights in a casino

Dwayne, we're not getting out of here alive, but it's the the lack of functioning I don't want. My dad had emphysema for years. He had to retire early because he couldn't pass his FAA physical, that's the reason I want to quit. I don't want any more cancer, I don't want emphysema, I don't want any type of COPD. Even if I could just control it, I'd be happy.
