Trap shooting and Golf Ball Driving from the ship ended because of environmental issues and I haven't heard about any cruiseline that allows it now....but you can still spit in the ocean if you want to.....Happy Sailing...

The last time I saw trap shooting was on a cruise to nowhere aboard ss SeaBreeze in September 2000. It was also the first time in a long time I had seen it. I'm glad to have gotten some photos.

It's been a long time since I've seen trap shooting on a ship. I did it on the Carnivale, my eyesight was better back then. That was the last time I recall seeing the confetti for sail away as well.

For goodness sake, make sure you are aft when you do this. Otherwise, consequences could resemble riding a Harley in a rainstorm. I hit golfballs off the back of the Ecstasy in 1994. I haven't seen that or trap shooting in ages. Many ports, if you care to research, offer trap shooting excursions. I do not know of any major cruise line that still offers trap shooting on the vessel itself.
