It looks like Plaxico is out for the season. They also suspended 6 players for diuretic usage for 6 weeks, so they're season's over with, too. I don't understand why anyone would take a chance when they are under such public scrutiny.
It is difficult to understand someone, who is being paid significant money to play football, pushing the rules and breaking them. I guess it is part arrogance and part wanting to have a competitive edge. I think the NFL minimum salary is 300k, and I doubt many are at the minimum.
