NFL Season Is Here!

All right! First my Giants win on Thursday and now the first Sunday of games is here! I'm looking forward to seeing Favre with the NY Nyets today, and who is he facing other than Chad Pennington with Miami. As you know, Pennington was dumped by the Nyets when they got Favre. Also up - my homeboy Philip Rivers and the Chargers in the second game.

There were some surprises, but most of the teams I thought would win did. The Chargers game was a nail biter!

Some great college games as well. I love football!

The Chargers were not too good for most of the game. I think it shows when a lot of the starters either didn't play pre-season or very little. Rivers was out-of-sync quite a bit. Carolina was loaded for bear and I have to admit they played a great game.

Of course the big NFL news is still not official - that Brady has a torn ACL and will be out all season.

I'm hoping it's not torn, but the MRI was this morning. I haven't seen it released, but you're probably right. I saw the hit and it sure looked hyper-extended to me. I heard they were going to get Chris Simms. No return for the Pats this year.
