We have just received word that Lori Hall, the friend of ours from church who lost her husband in the terrible car accident, the one you were praying for, has now lost her home due to the flooding. Her and the boys were rescued by boat in the very early morning hours this morning. Please, once again, keep Lori in your prayers. Mentally I just don't know how much more she can bear. She is still grieving losing Jeff, and now this. They moved into that house in January, a Habitat For Humanity house, Jeff was killed in March and now this. She really needs prayers! Thanks again to all my Cruise-Chat Friends in advance for your prayers.

Please be assured of my continuing paryers for Lori. Thankfully, she has such good friends as you to help see her through these terrible situations.
Happy cruising!

Life really is unfair. While some go along without a worry in the world, others get the whole lot with griefs, troubles and sadness.

My thoughts are with your friend and her family.

I was able to make it out to Lori Hall's house today, it is just awful. There is so much mud. Lori was not there but her neighbors were, they also attend our church. He said the water was up to the top of the windows and that not much was salvagable. We saw a lot of damage. Driving through Stockton, Minnesota is just terrible. One couple was on their roof awaiting rescue when their house floated off its foundation. They rode the house until it stopped against a railroad trestle. They were there until 5am until rescuers found them. Its been a terrible, terrible weekend in our area. Thanks again for all the prayers. We do hear that Lori Hall has decided to take her youngest son and move, not looking back. Jeremiah was her step-son and he will be staying here in Minnesota.
