Our local peach crop isn't memorable. However in middle Alabama is a town named Clanton. They have a Huge Peach Tower by the interstate to let people know what the local specialty is. People will drive from all over to get peaches there.

This morning I had a BT on white toast and coffee. It would have been a BLT but I had no lettuce.

I'm having a BLAT on rye for brunch (BLT + avocado).

I've seen the addition of avocado before but have never tried it. I'll add it to my bucket list.

We eat avocado almost every day. It's great sliced on a turkey sandwich or spread on bread with cheese or almost anything else.

So do we, Sandy; they are so reasonable and good lately it's almost criminal not to--just like asparagus.

Multibran cereal with flax and multibran with flax toast. Lot's of fiber for breakfast - I save the good stuff for vacations . . .

Yummy, everything sounds so good. Saturday mornings are my favorite-Cracker Barrel. I get a child's portion of french toast (1 slice) with cherries, no whipped cream just butter and a side order of bacon. Sundays are Steak and Biscuit in Moulton. A steak biscuit w/hash browns and a side of gravy. During the week it's usually a butter biscuit with honey and my mug-o-tea (unsweetened iced tea). Once in a while I'll get a country ham biscuit.

Cracker Barrel...I have to go for the gold when I'm there and get one of the big breakfasts like those listed HERE. I'm a sausage (sawmill) gravy and biscuit nut.
