Since I left NCL I've been enjoying my priviledge to greet everyone MERRY CHRISTMAS (and not "Happy Holidays" as we were instructed to do with NCL )

So Merry Christmas in advance everyine and the best wishes for 2008 and the years to come!

Baby's first Christmas! But the Christmas's for your next few years will be great too. I still remember my son when he was around 18 months old and it was about a week before Christmas. I noticed he had wandered away from the den and when I found him he was under the tree happily tearing the paper off of gifts, sucking on his pacifier, and most noticeably he had a loaded diaper!

I guess this is the kind of stories you save for the speech at his wedding

We really look forward to christmas with our son. It's amazing! He is six weeks old now and he has started "communicating" with us with smiles and small sounds What a great life being a father!

Svein,

It's been a long time since I looked at our twin babies, and felt what you do. I've had the same feeling looking at our grandchildren; it's what life is all about. Just keep soaking up those smiles.

Oh yeah! Merry Christmas to you too!

Merry Christmas to you, too! What a special Christmas you will have.

Many years ago (OK, decades!) Connie Francis had a record called "Baby's First Christmas". Actually, it was on the flip-side of a more popular tune. Anyway, it is the sweetest song and still brings tears to my eyes when I hear it. I think back on our children's first Christmases and now our grandchildren's first Christmases. The refrain is that "it's baby's first Christmas; a Christmas filled with love".

That's what I'm wishing for you! Merry Christmas!

Thank you NAdine and Sonny and all of you!
Even though my son is too young to understand the concept of christmas, we are enjoying his development every day. When he looks at me or his mum and smiles, the memory of sleepless nights are wiped away.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone - Thanks, Svein, for starting the holiday season. Some of us (not naming names) needed a jump start. It's hard to believe Christmas is only two weeks away. We finally got winter weather down here.... not that I'm every ready for it! But it's hard to remember Christmas is coming when it's still in the 70's and 80's. We've had four days of a winter storm so there's snow on the mountains. Definitely puts you in the spirit. For all of you with children and grandchildren - and even mayber great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews - enjoin the fun. Peace and love to you all.
