I picked this up on a Big 12 site. I am sure there is no bias . It has Texas by 1. I would like to see a 1 point game. I still think Bama will win by 10.

I now think Bama will win by 14. However I don't think the game will be out of reach under the last few minutes of the game.
Maybe 45-50 total points.

A big factor will be if McElroy's passing game shows up for Bama. If he can manage some big passing plays for some points it will be all over for Texas. Mark Ingram and Javier Arenas will do the rest.

Colt and the "O" have not put a lot of points up when playing good "D". Bama has a good "D". I would think they are looking at the OKLA and Neb game films.
I do think that Bama will be able to move the ball.

(self edit)... Let me add this I am a big Big 12 fan. My heart wants Texas to win. I just do not think it will happen.

It was interesting to note in the Birmingham News today that McElroy has never lost a game that he started in... high school or college. He already has a marketing degree and is applying to be a Rhodes scholar. (Too bad he couldn't be in a Rhodes dorm room with Tommy Lee Jones, Kris Kristofferson, and Bill Clinton... I bet that was a riot across the pond) Other than A's, McElroy has only suffered one B on his college transcript. (Unfortunately... it was in a class on Leadership and Management )

Well about 6 hours to kick off. Vegas has not changed the spread. Bama by 4 45 total points. I think 45-50 points, Bama by 10

I always like it when I read about a college athlete who knuckled down on the studies and did well. Applying for a Rhodes scholarship says it all for McElroy. I think I read he got his undergraduate degree in 3 years.

My homeboy Phillip Rivers graduated from high school early and also finished his degree at NC State well before his final year was over.

Bama Nation is waiting! Meanwhile our annoying local radio talk show host keeps whining about Alabama. He is a Florida fan and obviously a sore loser. He is rooting for Texas just because Florida isn't in the game. I may nominate him for idiot of the day.

Well you have to feel bad for Colt. That just plain hurts.
Bama is doing great, but it is a different game without Colt.
