Atascadero should hit around 100 today, right Psychocruiser? I don't even know when we last had rain. Of course, just 30 minutes from Atascadero is the coast where it will probably be in the 70s.

I live in southern Norway, about an hour south of Oslo and we have (for a change this summer) 23 C. It's really been a lousy summer weatherwise, wind and rainy most of the days.

This week is supposed to be good, but of course our holiday is over and it's back to work.

It's currently 67 degrees and rainy in Washington DC. It's supposed to be back up to the mid 90s by the weekend.

Here in Dallas, its cooled off from 100+ to mid 90's. We got a little rain from Erin, but after the drenching we got earlier in the year, we are not missing not having daily rain storms.

I wouldn't mind a high of 65... Andrea, I would glady send some of our hot weather your way if I had the means.

Yes, I lived in Brookyln for about 14 years. Those were some of the best years of my life. There is no place like NY...the food, the culture...not really needing a car...

You're right. There is nothing like New York. I can only take it in small doses though. We spent 3 days there recently, and we had a great time. Only problem with the city is... I always want to shower. Smells attach themselves to your body. Especially, after riding the subway system.

We ate in Little Italy, outside on the sidewalk, one evening. It was a perfect night. Went to Ferrara's for cannoli's afterwards. Grabbed some H&H bagels in the morning. Drove by the Manhattan Pier just to see what ships were docked. Ventured down to South Street to take in the "Bodies" exhibit. Did some shopping (best part).

Times Square is incredibly mobbed nowadays. You can't even move. We walked most places. Took the subway to the Met's game and a cab to South Street Seaport.
