Cats

For those that have a Kitty Cat in residence I found this to be very entertaining. My Sis sent it to me for educational purposes. I don't think my Cat is all that crazy now.

I have 4 grown cats, that are strays, 1 just recently had 4 kittens. One bit me and I had to have 4 stitches, one bit my hubby and he dang near ended up in the hospital. Needless to say, I'd like to take them to the pound. The pound in our area, will not take strays. So I need to borrow an address from someone in Decatur to take them in. I love cats and dogs, but where we live, everyone dumps their unwanted animals. We also have 5 dogs that people have dumped as well. The cats are so mean, the dogs are afraid of them

Penny, I am the same way about taking animals in. A black lab got lost a few years ago, and I brought him home and tried to find his owner. We had 3 cats at the time and he was scared to death of them. It was the oddest thing. He would run to the door and growl though if anyone knocked. He just didn't want anything to do with those cats.

I only have one cat now, the other two died of old age. He is 10 years old and still acts like he is a kitten. He goes by the rules when we are here, but leave for two days and it is a free for all about him getting on tables etc. He actually managed to turn the coffee maker on once and nearly caught the house on fire!

He is pretty good about lizard and palmetto bug control though, so I cut him some slack.

I'd cut the cats some slack if they'd take care of the rodents, but they're afraid of them. The dogs kill moles and mice, the cats run from them
