Just when you're convinced there isn't a single competent politician, up pops one

Wait a minute, she cann't be our mayor. Our town burned down 40 years ago, it was never rebuilt. All we have no is the city linit signs.

I'd vote for her. Text book example of what an effective CEO should be. I note she was born 4 months before my mother (who has been gone for 13 years). Incredible and inspirational to see older people who are still so vibrant and effective.

Its also proof that you can run an effective city government (or any government) without over-taxing and over-spending. Something every other politician has no concept of.

How about this...that city could loan the U.S. government a half-billion dollars and still have a two hundred million dollar reserve. (I know - it is Canadian dollars, but they'll soon be worth more than U.S. dollars). As of today it was a 91 cent exchange rate.

How incredible! She is so inspirational!
