Reconnecting with friends after many years of not seeing them. Talking about the "old days!"

Seeing your first kid go off to college.

Seeing your last kid go off to college.

Seeing your last kid graduate so you can disembark the S.S. Tuition!!

I just love a trip to Yosemite on a crisp fall day. Maybe right after our next cruise we will head up there.

I love it when the doctor says "See you in Six Months" - - it shows he anticipates I can make it at least that long.

I love this time of year in the desert Southwest; days can still be hot, but the nights and mornings are cooling down.

I love being able to spend time with the family we have left, and laughing and crying about the "good old days".

I love my husband and my friends and - believe it or not - my job on most days.

I love it that I am able to afford to plan vacations and actually go on them.... especially cruises. I look forward to when we can do this more than once every two or three years.

I'm so glad I found this forum oh-so many years ago. Great people, great conversations.

Cheers and Love to All

I like this topic! Things that elate me:

--My husband and I being with our kids, grandkids, and other family members

--Having a meal with good friends

--Spring when the new corn peeks through the soil in the fields by our house

--Thunderstorms in the summer

--Changing leaves in the autumn

--Cruising in the winter

--A Dairy Queen Butterfinger Blizzard

I could go on and on! It's such fun to focus on positives in our lives. Thanks!

Someone saying thank you to me for an act of kindness.

A surprise call from a long lost friend.

Someone welcoming me by name when going in to their business.

A walk on the beach, and people taking the time to say hello.

The day my cruise docs come.

The moment I step on the ship, and leave the non-sense of this world behind me.

Seeing my family for Holidays, and all the smells of the food while catching up and watching football.

I love opening the "joke of the day" e-mail from a friend and then sending the good ones on to other friends

I love sitting on the deck with cousins and friends on a summer evening

I love sunny autumn days and evenings when you can still sit out on the deck

I love skiing in the bush early in the morning after a fresh snowfall with a friend from work

I love music

I love reading a good book

I love watching my partner planning the next cruise

Need some cruise help?
