Why do they always have to kick these games off with some stupid stage show on the field, featuring acts which truthfully have little talent? (I hate Black Eyed Peas. What a bunch of hacks)
I love to eat black eyed peas, but the group, well...bites. I didn't get to see all of the game, but did see that Palamaluu (or however you spell it) strained his MCL and will be out for 2-3 weeks. Heck, without him the Steelers defense will be lacking. He's all over the field on every play. At least the Titans took it to overtime.
I was sitting here waiting for Denver to lose when POW!, a tipped ball falls right into the hands of one of their receivers and he runs it in for the winning score with 11 seconds on the clock. (I am not a Denver fan!)
Me, either. There were some surprises yesterday, then some not so surprises. Miami and Tampa Bay looked terrible. I don't know what has happened to Tampa Bay's defense, but they sure need to straighten it out. If a new coach is going to totally change a system, he should make sure everyone is on the same page by the end of the pre-season, not still practicing in a real game. Miami looked sad on both sides of the ball. Didn't get to finish the Green Bay/Chicago game, but until I went to bed is was a totally defensive game.
Since I'm asleep by 8pm, I'll miss that one. I hope the Chargers win. The Giants looked pretty good yesterday. I still think Eli needs to calm down, he's not as bad as Peyton, but they're both too nervous for me. I couldn't believe the 49ers finally won a game!
